All payments on Embun Homes are processed securely in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) through CHIP Asia with 256-bit TLS encryption and RSA-SHA256 webhook verification.

How the 24-Hour Pre-Authorization Hold Works

When you reserve a stay, your payment is placed in an AUTHORIZED hold while the host verifies calendar availability. Funds are only captured once the host approves your booking.

  • If your host approves the booking within 24 hours, the payment transitions to PAID and you receive an instant confirmation email.
  • If the host declines or the 24-hour window expires without action, the hold is automatically released/refunded with zero penalty.
